Christopher Madison Shares Parting Shot

As Christopher Madison bids farewell to Dentsu Kenya, he shares 10 lessons he is taking with him. One of the key lessons is that complex ideas don’t sell.

“Simplicity isn’t dumbing down, it’s smartening up. The best campaigns are clear, memorable, and so simple you can explain them in one sentence,” he stated.

He also indicated that it is important for an individual to trust their ideas.

“If you want to stand out, avoid committees. Consensus is where big ideas go to die.”

“To all the brilliant Dentsu staff I’ve worked with over the years, thank you for making this a journey filled with creativity, resilience, and endless laughs. To our clients, partners, and suppliers, you trusted us to shape your brands, and for that, I’m forever grateful,” he said as he took his leave.
