Requirements By JSS learning
Grades 7, 8 and 9 of the Junior Secondary School (JSS) were introduced under the Competence Based Curriculum (CBC).
Students must select the pathways and tracks they want to pursue in Senior Secondary School and develop a deeper understanding of the broad CBC curriculum.
In addition, the CBC requires the respective schools to have labs set up for smooth practicality of the studies acquired.
Experiments are carried out in laboratories for this reason. However, teaching science in the schools has encountered challenges in primary schools if the labs are not present.
