Machakos County Police are holding an 18-year-old man alleged to have sodomized a 4-year-old boy before chopping off his private parts.
While confirming the incident, Yatta Sub County police boss Jane Makau reported that the victim was locked up in a house in Ikombe Market before the suspect commtted the ungodly act.
Moreover, the suspect is alleged to be mentally ill.
Nevertheless, the minor was rushed to a local health centre where he received first aid before being moved to Matuu Level Four Hospital.

“The minor was received first aid at a private clinic and was later rushed to Matuu Level Four Hospital. He was later transferred to Kenyatta National Hospital in Nairobi for further treatment,” police said.
Meanwhile, the suspect is being held at Ikombe Police Post pending his arraignment.
