Morara Kebaso, the 2027 presidential aspirant and leader of the Inject Party of Kenya, has unveiled a bold, agriculture-driven manifesto aimed at transforming Kenya’s economy and empowering its youth.
In his 2027 campaign manifesto, he promises to put land directly in the hands of young people of Kenya.
Kebaso promises to “give idle land to the youth to farm and grow economically,” a pledge aimed at tackling two of the country’s most urgent challenges, youth unemployment and food insecurity.
Kebaso’s strategy includes ending food importation, investing in irrigation and climate-resistant agriculture, and ramping up food processing industries
A plan, he says, will create thousands of new jobs across rural and urban areas.
Morara Kebaso’s Agriculture-driven Manifesto
Kebaso has vowed to stop the importation of all food into Kenya, positioning this as a step toward true food sovereignty.
He argues that Kenya has the resources, climate, and labour to feed itself, and he believes dependence on imports undermines local farmers, drains national revenue, and weakens long-term food security.

To support this shift, Kebaso has promised massive investment in irrigation and climate-resistant farming techniques.
With increasing droughts and unpredictable weather threatening crop yields, he plans to fund large-scale irrigation projects and introduce climate-smart agricultural methods.
To further stimulate rural and urban economies, Kebaso plans to increase the number and capacity of food processing industries.
Kebaso on Negativity on Social Media
Kebaso has also spoken out against what he describes as a toxic culture of infighting among young Kenyan political voices, accusing social media users of perpetuating division and enabling entrenched political systems to thrive.
“I am tired of trying to be loved by Kenyans on social media,” Kebaso wrote.
“We have been programmed to hate each other and keep the old corrupt system in power,” he added.
Kebaso criticised the double standard applied to new political entrants, arguing that young leaders are routinely “cancelled” or dismissed for minor or unproven allegations, while well-known figures implicated in large-scale corruption are celebrated and given platforms in churches and public events.

“You call someone a conman, and everyone adopts it without producing evidence… but you allow someone who has stolen 6 trillion to be cheered in church,” he said.
