President William Ruto has appointed former nominated senator Isaac Mwaura as the Government Spokesperson.
In a statement on Wednesday, October 4, the Head of Public Service Felix Koskei announced Mwaura’s appointment as part of a reconstitution of the office.
Further, Koskei announced former news anchor Mwanaisha Chidzuga as Mwaura’s Deputy alongside Gabriel Muthuma.
The reconstitution, Koskei noted, was a result of a request by the Public Service Commission.
Further, the Head of Public Service announced a raft of ambassadorial appointments.

As per the statement, Ambassador Tabu Irina will head Kenya’s Mission in Dublin, Ireland, while Ambassador Willy Bett was appointed as Kenya’s Ambassador in Beijing, China.
Additionally, President William Ruto assigned Jane Wairimu Ndurumo to head Kenya’s Mission in Pretoria and George Morara as the head of Kenya’s Mission in Addis Ababa.
