Royal Media Services (RMS) fraternity, family, and friends of late Charles Kinyua Mithamo gathered at Lang’ata Muslim Cemetry on Friday, February 9 where he was laid to rest.
Charles was a senior technician at RMS and worked with the company for 22 years.
Elizabeth Njeri the widow to Charles eulogized him as a caring and loving husband.
During the emotional sendoff, one of her daughters remembered her late dad as a joyful and playful father.
“Dear dad, I remember the days that you were with us. You taught me English and jokes. The day you taught me about real numbers, and now I’m the best in math. I will miss you,” she lamented.

Fred Afune, the director ICT and Radio at RMS celebrated Charles as mentor to many, describing him as a dependable team member.
Mithano who joined RMS in 2002 was working as an engineer at RMS before his demise.
As a long serving professional in the media industry, Charles worked at Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) as a technician and studio operator between 1992-1999.
The late Mithano died in a road accident along Kamiti Road in Kiambu county.
