On the early morning of December 5, 2025, Ukrainian forces carried out a series of drone strikes deep inside Russian territory, targeting key government offices and critical oil facilities.
A high-rise building hosting several Chechen government offices, including the Chechen Security Council, the Regional Election Commission, the Audit Chamber, the Ministry of Tourism, the Department of Relations with Religious and Public Organisations, and the Regional Ministry of Justice, suffered significant structural damage.
The strike caused multiple upper-floor facades to blow out, fires to ignite, and windows to shatter, although no casualties were reported. The building is located approximately 800 meters from Ramzan Kadyrov’s official residence and near a local FSB branch.
