Kenyan digital creator Vincent Owino, popularly known as Vindee Official, has become one of the country’s fastest-rising online personalities after transitioning from viral prank videos to In Real Life (IRL) livestreaming.

The content creator has recently attracted international attention following reports that he is set to join American streaming star Kai Cenat’s Streamer University.

In his recent stream, Vindee met a Japanese who has invited him to Japan, and he will cover everything, including passport, ticket, accommodation, and visa.

Vindee’s Early Life, Family and Rise Through ‘Ndakushandaa’ Pranks

Vindee was born and raised in Kisumu and is a fourth-born in a family of eleven.

After completing his secondary school studies in Nairobi, Vindee opted to stay to start hustling. In an interview with Dr Ofweneke, Vindee stated that his first job after completing high school was working in a cyber.

He revealed that his upbringing was tough and that his dream was to join the army.

He started content creation with his Ndakushandaa pranks in Nairobi and later started content creator FC in 2024.

His prank videos captured the attention of Kenyan audiences on YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok.

However, the prank had risks and in the late 2025, Vindee was reportedly assaulted while filming one of his public prank videos after onlookers believed the incident being recorded was genuine.  During the confrontation, he lost a tooth and some of his filming equipment was destroyed.

Despite the challenges, the prankster continued with his unique Ndakushandaa prank content.

IShowSpeed Influence and Transition to IRL Streaming

In December 2025, American streamer IShowSpeed announced his African IRL tour. Vindee sought support from several leaders, including Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja, who offered him 14 jerseys for his FC Content creators club.

Owino revealed that he had been following the American streamer IShowSpeed, and through this, he decided to prank people that IShowSpeed had chosen him to represent the Kenyan creatives.

According to him, the prank worked because many people believed he would be leading Speed in Kenya.

Vindee then decided to shift from pranks to IRL streaming. In January 2026, he launched his IRL stream across Kenya. At that time, Vindee had 30,000 subscribers, and within a month, he had 100,000.

Vindee to Join Kai Cenat’s Streamer University

With streaming passion, the creator submitted his application accepted into Streamer University, a content creation programme founded by popular American streamer and content creator Kai Cenat.

He launched an online push to increase visibility and demonstrate audience engagement.

In June 2026, Owino revealed that he has officially been selected to join the programme while streaming with Mike Sonkos’s daughter, Sandra Mbuvi.

Sandra stated that she carefully reviewed the Email and confirmed that its true he has been selected.

In his June 28 stream, he met a Japanese man who offered to take him to Japan for an IRL stream. The Japanese has offered to pay for his ticket, visa, and accommodation while in Japan.

Vindee’s Networth

Vindee’s net worth has not been publicly disclosed. However, he is a full-time content creator with a monetized YouTube channel. Through his public influence, he is a brand ambassador of several brands in Kenya, including betting companies.
