The United States is accepting applications for B1 and B2 visas targeting visitors, including international fans planning to attend the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 will be hosted jointly by Canada, Mexico, and the United States from June 11 to July 19, 2026
Ticket holders who purchased their tickets directly from FIFA and opted into the FIFA Priority Appointment Scheduling System (PASS) can now apply for a B1/B2 visitor visa, allowing them to schedule an interview before the tournament begins.
“This will be a once in a lifetime opportunity to showcase the beauty and the greatness of America. And we can’t wait to welcome soccer fans from all over the globe,” stated U.S President Donald Trump on U.S hosting the tournament.
According to the United States, all visitors traveling to the United States are required to have passports that are valid for six months beyond the period of their intended stay in the country, unless they are citizens of an exempt country.

World Cup 2026 Visa Application
The FIFA Priority Appointment Scheduling System (PASS) provides individuals who purchase World Cup tickets with priority access to visa interviews.
To use FIFA PASS, log in to the official FIFA website and submit the FIFA PASS opt-in form.
Individuals who received their ticket through FIFA’s Ticket Transfer feature must first create a FIFA ticketing account, accept the transfer, and agree to all terms and conditions before submitting the opt-in form.
Once logged in, select your country of nationality or residence the determine which rules apply.
- Fill out the DS-160 online visa application form
- Upload a current passport photo
- Pay the visa application fee
After completing the steps, applicants can schedule their visa interview.
If the information provided in the FIFA PASS opt-in form matches the details in the visa application, the applicant will have access to a FIFA PASS Appointment to schedule an appointment.
The U.S. has stated that scheduling a FIFA PASS interview does not guarantee that a visa will be issued.
All applicants, including FIFA ticket holders, must undergo the standard screening process and demonstrate eligibility for a B1/B2 visitor visa.
