Central Organization of Trade Unions (COTU) Secretary General Francis Atwoli hosted a party to celebrate his son Prof Lukoye Atwoli for his recent achievements.
Taking to his X account, Atwoli shared photos of the glamorous event showing guests seated in a well-arranged tent decorated with colors purple and white, the theme colors of COTU.
His son Lukoye, dressed in an African print inspired shirt, was all smiles during the party, perhaps an indication of the joy the special honor by his father had brought him.
The party was attended by influential scholars, among other guests, who the COTU Secretary General noted had played an integral part in shaping his son’s destiny.
In his statement, Atwoli said the party was his way of appreciating his son’s achievement in the recent past.
“Today, I hosted a celebration to appreciate and honor the many achievements that my son, Prof. Lukoye Atwoli,”
“Lukoye Atwoli, has achieved over a very short time and at his youthful age. Also present in the celebrations were Dr. Frank Njenga, Prof. Henry Alube and the many who have mentored and walked with Prof. Lukoye over the years. To my son, Prof. Lukoye, I am so proud of you,” Atwoli noted.
