A Labour Day prayer session at Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi, Kenya, turned into a moment of laughter after a pastor mentioned the name of ODM leader Raila Odinga. The prayer session, which took place on Monday, May 1, was conducted by the pastor, who began by asking God to bless Raila and enable him to retire gracefully.
During the prayer session, the pastor also prayed for President Ruto, asking God to protect and give him strength while enabling all his workers to stand by him. The pastor then prayed for Raila, asking God to bless him with a peaceful retirement.
At the same time, the pastor condemned the planned demonstrations, asking God to make them fail. He prayed that the opposition’s agenda failed and that Raila would retire gracefully with peace, so he even stopped plans to hold demos.

The pastor urged Raila to rest peacefully because the country’s leadership has been handed over to Ruto, and they do not want any controversies beginning on this Labour Day.
“Apumzike kwa amani kwa sababu kazi ya uongozi ulimpatia William Ruto na hatutaki kuona malumbano kuanzia siku hii ya Labour Day”.
The crowd could not hold back their laughter during the prayer session, which turned out to be a light moment during the event. The incident has since gone viral on social media, with many Kenyans commenting on the hilarious moment.
