Tanzanian artists Naseeb Abdul Juma Issack, popularly known as Diamond Platnumz and Rajab Abdul Kahali alias Harmonize met for the first time since their fallout.
The two met on Tuesday March 12 (night), during a special Iftar dinner organized by Tanzanian President Samia Hassan at the State House in Dar Es Salaam.
In a video shared on social media, Diamond and Harmonize can be seen talking as they shake hands.
The two are dressed in hijabs with a Muslim song playing in the background.
Photos of the two artists having some light moments at the event have also emerged signaling the end of the bad blood.
The meet-up came five years after Harmonize left Diamond’s Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) and started the Konde Gang.
It also came a few weeks after Harmonize promised to talk to Diamond on phone to settle their differences.
The fans were amazed that the Diamond and Harmonize are back to talking terms after years of beefing.
Diamond & Harmonize Fallout
The artists fell out when Harmonize left WCB Wasafi in 2019 alleging unfair treatment.
In 2021, Harmonize revealed the reason behind his beef with Diamond adding that his silence made him lose his reputation.
“I was signed into a 10-year contract at WCB. Any money I earned within the contract, Diamond would take 60%, leaving me with 40%. I would have to add my own money to my share in order to push my music,” he revealed.
He explained that problems begun when he started performing in different countries, including Nigeria, and releasing collaborations with popular artists.
The ‘Atarudi’ hit maker also claimed that the WCB management slandered him after he started to become a household name in Tanzania and was starting to be seen as Diamond’s rival.

Harmonize Asked for Help from Diamond’s Mother
Harmonize explained that he sought intervention from other people including Late President John Pombe Magufuli and Mama Sandra Dangote (Diamond’s mother), but all efforts bore no fruit.
“All I wanted was peace. So, I followed Mama Dangote and told her Diamond, and I were like brothers, and we had come from far and helped each other in many ways,” he added.
Harmonize emphasized that he was just chasing his dream and the WBC management started thinking that he wanted to overtake Diamond.
He also accused WCB of intentionally creating a dispute between Diamond and any successful Tanzanian artist.
“If you are keen enough all artists who have had problems with Diamond, the problem starts when they start shining. When they are still not popular, they are good friends,” he said.
“An example is Ommy Dimpoz. They were friends. I will speak since I do want people to see me as the bad person,” Harmonzie alleged in a 2021 interview.
