Renowned Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman has recognized a talented Kenyan artist from Dandora, who posted a pencil drawing of the actor on Twitter on February 3, 2023.
A month later, Freeman responded to the artist, who goes by the Twitter handle @pencilartsam, with a tweet,
“Artist Appreciation. Check out this awesome sketch by @PencilArtSam.”
The artist had shared the sketch on his account and wrote, “I just finished this today,” while using the Kenyan flag emoji and tagging Freeman.
The detailed sketch portrays the actor’s iconic features, including his cloud-white hair, facial moles, small hoop earring, and warm grandfatherly smile. The tweet by Freeman has already garnered over 400,000 views and received an impressive 10,000 likes.
