Tina Ogal is a veteran Radio Journalist with over 20 years of experience in the industry.
She has established her brand as a Radio Presenter at Radio Citizen, part of Royal Media Services, a leading media company in Kenya, where she has been serving since 2004.
Radio Citizen is one of the most listened-to radio stations according to a survey by the Media Council of Kenya (MCK) in, which ranked the station with 22% followed by Radio Jambo and Radio Maisha with 14% and 11% respectively.
Tina’s hard work and vast experience earned her promotion as the Acting Head of Radio after Jeridah Andayi left RMS to pursue new endeavors.
In her new role Tina will report to Vincent Ateya, the Programs Manager for the National cluster.
Career of Tina Ogal
Tina Ogal is widely recognized for her distinctive, authoritative voice and articulate command of the Swahili language, and for engaging the audiences with conversations that resonate with them.
She hosts the “Drive on Reload Show,” an evening drive show alongside Munai Generali from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
They have been hosting the show for about 16 years and have built a strong fanbase due to their intriguing radio conversations and the great music they share with their audience.
Their show revolves around entertainment and trending topics in the country.

The talented radio personality has also appeared several times as a guest host at the Roga Roga Show on Citizen TV, another brand of Royal Media Services.
Roga Roga show is usually hosted by veteran Radio Presenter Fred Obachi Machoka and cohosted by DJ Vic and airs from Saturday at 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Ogal’s efforts with her colleagues at Radio Citizen have earned the radio station several awards over the years in different categories, including a recent award in 2023, when the station won silver in the People’s Choice Award at the KUZA awards.
Besides working for Royal Media Services Ogal has previously worked for Waumini FM as a Radio Presenter from January 2001 to February 2004.
While working for Waumini FM, Ogal also worked partly as a voice-over artist for the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) from January 2002 to September 2002.
Ogal’s Education Background
Tina Ogal holds a master’s degree in diplomacy from the University of Nairobi which she obtained from 2021 to 2023.
