Kenya Red Cross to Auction 34 Land Cruisers with KSh 3,500 Access Fee per Vehicle

The Kenya Red Cross Society, through its commercial arm Emergency Plus Medical Services (E-Plus), has announced the auction of 34 Toyota Land Cruisers.

The vehicles, formerly used by E-Plus, will be disposed of through an online bidding process hosted on the TenderSure platform.

The disposal exercise is part of a structured asset management process, with interested buyers invited to participate in the bid.

According to a notice issued by E-Lus, the auction is scheduled to close on March 31, 2026, at 10:00 PM East Africa Time.

Online Auction Process via TenderSure

According to the notice issued by E-Plus, the entire disposal process will be conducted digitally through TenderSure, a platform designed to facilitate transparent and competitive bidding.

Interested bidders are required to create an account under the “Available Jobs” section and select the vehicle they intend to bid for.

Access to each listed vehicle requires a separate payment of KSh 3,500, which enables bidders to view detailed information and participate in the auction.

Payments can be made via mobile money services such as M-PESA, as well as Visa and Mastercard.

Unlike conventional sales, where prices are fixed, the TenderSure system uses a competitive bidding model.

This means that vehicle prices are not publicly displayed in advance and will instead be determined by bids from registered participants during the auction period.

Inspection and viewing of the Vehicles

Buyers will have an opportunity to physically inspect them before placing bids.

E-Plus has scheduled a viewing window to allow interested buyers to assess the condition of the vehicles.

The inspection exercise will run from March 18 to March 27, 2026, on weekdays between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

Buyers intending to visit the yard are required to download a site visit form from the TenderSure platform and present it alongside their original ID card.

They will also be required to request access through Benjamin Wanyande during the viewing period.

Kenya Red Cross  Vehicle Details

All the vehicles listed for disposal are Toyota Land Cruisers, a model widely recognized for its durability and suitability for rugged terrain.

The vehicle consists of units manufactured between 2011 and 2018.

Each vehicle is identified by its registration number, chassis number, engine number, and year of manufacture, as provided in the official disposal notice.
