The Competition Authority of Kenya (CAK), Kenya Trade Network Agency (KenTrade) and KenGen have invited applications from qualified candidates for various positions.
In adverts published on Tuesday, October 29, the three agencies outlined the vacant positions, qualifications and how applicants can send their applications.
CAK is a Statutory Agency established under the Competition Act CAP 504.
The authority’s mandate is to promote and safeguard competition and protect consumers from unfair and misleading market conduct.
The authority has invited applications from suitably qualified, experienced and motivated people to fill four vacant positions.
Among the advertised positions are Senior ICT Officer (one), ICT Officer and an Assistant Knowledge Management Officer.
Additionally, the authority advertised five vacancies for the position of Young Professional Programme
“Interested candidates can access detailed information and requirements about the vacant positions from the Authority’s Website www.cak.go.ke,” the Authority said.
Candidates should submit their application on or before November 12, 2024, at 5pm.
KenTrade Advertises Vacancies for 3 Positions
KenTrade, on its part, is a State Corporation under the National Treasury and Economic Planning whose mandate is to implement, operationalize, and manage the National Electronic Single Window System (Trade Facilitation Platform) and promote trade facilitation.
The Corporation has advertised vacancies for three positions under permanent and pensionable terms.
“We wish to engage suitably qualified candidates who meet the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Kenya Constitution for positions of Manager, Human Resource & Administration, Manager, Internal Audit and Driver,” the Corporation said.

The applications must be received no later than Monday, November 18, 2024.

KenGen Jobs
KenGen is a market leader in the provision of electric energy and the largest geothermal power producer in Africa.
The agency is seeking to recruit qualified and result-oriented individuals to fill 13 vacant positions.
Under grade 3, KenGen has announced vacancies for the positions of Manager, Power Generation; Manager, Quality & Safety and Manager, Business Process Reengineering & Innovation.
KenGen also seeks to recruit a grade 5 Senior Engineer, Technical Assurance and grade 7 Insurance Officer and Property Officer.

There are three positions under grade 10 including a Technician, Mechanical; Technician, Electrical and Technician, Automotive.
“Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted,” the Agency said.
Additionally, KenGen announced vacancies for four craftsman positions under grade 10.
This includes mechanical, electrical, civil and auto mechanical.
“Interested candidates should submit their online applications through our career portal on the KenGen website at https://careers.kengen.co.ke/ by close of business on 12th November 2024,” KenGen said.
The agency has warned that canvassing, falsifying or misinterpretation of qualifications will lead to automatic disqualification.
