Classic 105 show Host Mike Mondo has found himself in a legal trouble after being accused of sharing images of minors who are not his children.
Advocate James Makori has served the presenter with a cease-and-desist letter on behalf of Ramadhani Oluoch, who stated that he is the father of the children whose images were posted online.
In the letter, Mondo was directed to stop posting the images of the children, whose mother he is in a relationship with.
Further, the letter details that Oluoch has no problem with Mondo’s relationship with the lady but does not approve of the radio presenter’s use of his children for clout chasing.
“We are further instructed that you have children of your own whom you do not post but you choose to post our client’s children for clout and attention and our client wonders to what end.
“As radio presenter you are expected to at the very least be well acquainted with media laws to understand why mass media outlets typically blur and or pixelate the faces of children in photos and videos to protect their privacy and anonymity,” the letter read in part.

Cases Where Mondo Is Accused of Sharing Photos of the Children
In addition, the letter explained that during the festive season, Mondo shared pictures of himself with the children and their mother online.
The pictures attracted negative reactions from Kenyans forcing the presenter to delete them from his social media feed.
Further, the advocate indicated that they had in possession screenshots of the referenced images as evidence.
“We are instructed that on 2 different occasions during the festive season you went ahead and posted photos of you and the mother of our client’s children together with their 2 sons on Instagram, and the same found its way to the X mobile application,” added the letter.
Oluoch said that the backlash from Kenyans embarrassed him and made him trend on X, as well as breached his privacy.

Also, he noted that the move exposed the children to possible bullying in school.
“This exposed the children to breach of their privacy, and possibly setting them up for future ridicule and bullying at school since the adults around them have failed in being objective with their actions,” explained the advocate.
Demands Made by Oluoch
On the other hand, Oluoch demanded that Mondo stops posting any pictures of the children on his social media platforms.
Besides, he asked for an apology from Mondo over the photos he posted during the holidays within 72 hours.
“It is from the above foregoing that we hereby are instructed to demand that you pull down all the photos of the minors from all your social media platforms, cease and desist from posting such photos ever again,
“And issue an unconditional apology to our client within 72 hours failure to which we have mandatory and unequivocal instructions to institute legal proceedings against you in a court of law,” demanded the letter.
