Lawyer Miguna Miguna has urged President William Ruto’s administration to allow Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition’s anti-government rallies.
Miguna said Raila Odinga, and retired president Uhuru Kenyatta are only looking to provoke President Ruto into a public fight, adding that their intention is to attract sympathy from the masses.
“Raila Odinga and despot Uhuru Kenyatta want to goad President William Ruto into a public duel. They want to attract sympathy,” Miguna said.
According to lawyer Miguna, the Kenya Kwanza government should not ban the Opposition party’s rallies for this reason, but peacefully counter them on all forums.

Nonetheless, the outspoken lawyer made these remarks following the series of rallies organized by Azimio coalition.
In the rallies, the opposition claims that their victory was stolen and as such insists that they do not recognize Ruto’s presidency.
Furthermore, the opposition has so far held five rallies, in Kamukunji grounds, Jacaranda, Kibra, and Mavoko where they call for Ruto’s resignation.
