Kimwele Muneeni is a lecturer at the Jaramogi Odinga Oginga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST).
In 2020, he was one of eight former employees who sued the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) for wrongful dismissal, alleging they were targeted for investigating corruption.
He has also been involved in several landmark civil suits, including ‘Kimwele Muneeni v Caroline Mango & 2 others,’ which centered on irregular service of court summons.
Academic and Professional Qualifications
He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Nairobi, attained in 2011.

Kimwele holds a Master of Laws from the University of Nairobi, earned in 2008.
In 1995, he attained a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Nairobi, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law in 1996, before being admitted to the Roll of Advocates in the same year.
Kimwele Muneeni’s Work Experience
He has been a lecturer at Jaramogi Odinga Oginga University of Science and Technology since 2018.

In 2014, he became an Adjunct Lecturer at the Kenya School of Law, leaving the office in 2023.
From 2011 to 2013, he was a Senior Attorney at the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
1997 – 2011 saw him serving at the Magistracy.
