Kenyan singer, Esther Akoth, popularly known as Akothee, has disclosed the extravagant amount her Swiss fiancé, Mr. Omosh, spent on her wedding gown and shoes.
The flamboyant singer in Bern, Switzerland, bought a wedding gown worth 4,800 CFH (approximately Ksh. 690k) and bridal shoes that cost 1,200 CFH (approximately Ksh. 172k).
Akothee, who had planned to shop in Paris, could not do so due to the nationwide protests. She said the gown, an Autumn white lace fishtail marvel garlanded with Swarovski stones, was purchased from Switzerland-based Mery’s Couture. The gown had to undergo three fittings to get the perfect fit.

Speaking about her gown, the singer revealed it was a perfect birthday gift from Mr. Omosh, who she says has spoiled her completely. Akothee, who rarely receives gifts, says finding love has taught her what being loved looks like. In her usual style, she proudly shared a video of the gown being transported, first class.
Akothee and Mr. Omosh’s fairytale wedding is set to take place on Easter Monday, April 10th, at the expansive Windsor Gardens. The couple, who met through an old friend of Akothee, is set to tie the knot in the presence of family and friends.
