Singer and rapper Sylvia Ssaru has revealed that she has moved on from her crush on fellow musician Otile Brown.
Ssaru had previously expressed her admiration for Brown due to his good looks, but her advances were not reciprocated, leading her to forget about him.
In a recent interview at the launch of the Infinix Hot 30 at the Kenyatta International Conference Center (KICC), Ssaru spoke to TUKO.co.ke about her change of heart, stating that she had “completely” forgotten about Brown and is now in a happy relationship. She added that her attraction to Brown was just a “normal crush” and that she was not overly obsessed with him.

Meanwhile, Otile Brown has opened up about his struggles to find a new partner following his breakup with his Ethiopian ex-girlfriend, Nabby. In an interview on Radio Jambo, the musician admitted that it is difficult for him to determine a woman’s true intentions when meeting them. He stated, “Me being in this position right now, you don’t know whoever you are meeting. You don’t know whether they are real.”
However, Otile Brown also revealed that he is not actively searching for a new relationship and is taking his time. He added that if he were to meet a genuine person, he would be open to settling down. “If I get a real person, I would settle down. I’m not searching anyway, but I’m taking my time,” he explained.
Despite their differing relationship statuses, Ssaru and Otile Brown continue to make waves in the Kenyan music scene.
