The National Assembly Justice and Legal Affairs Committee(JLAC) has recommended the setting up of tribunal to try the four IEBC Commissioners under probe.
The four are accused of gross violation of the constitution, incompetence and gross misconduct during the August 9 elections.

At the same time, the committee chaired by Tharaka MP George Murugara is also recommending that President William Ruto suspends the four commissioners awaiting their tribunal trial.
The four are Vice Chairperson Juliana Cherera, Justus Nyang’aya, Francis Wanderi and Irine Masit.
The four differed with their chairman Wafula Chebukati on the outcome of the presidential elections and disowned the final results.
“The committee recommends that the President suspends the four commissioners herein pending the tribunal verdict,” said Murugara.
The JLAC chairman tabled the report on Thursday morning.
The House is expected to debate the report Thursday afternoon for either adoption as it is, with amendments or total rejection.
If adopted, then President Ruto could as soon as tomorrow suspend the four.
The four who absconded JLAC hearings were represented by their lawyers who questioned the impartiality of the committee.
Azimo allied members of parliament who sit in the JLAC committee also absconded the hearings
