Arsenal is set to sign Chelsea forward Kai Havertz for $82 million.
The club reportedly agreed on the fee for the German on Wednesday, allowing Havertz to discuss contract terms and undergo medical tests at Arsenal.
Havertz will be Arsenal’s first signing of the close season, after the club finished second in the just completed English Premier League.
The 24-year-old has emerged as a top target for the Gunners in recent weeks after his three inconsistent years with Chelsea.
