An autopsy report has revealed that the 60-year-old woman identified as Rosemary Wahu, whose decomposing body was found in a house died of starvation.
According to the pathologist Titus Ngulungu, the deceased also died because of dehydration.
He explained that Wahu died a slow and painful death adding that her intestines, stomach and gut were empty.
“She did not have sugars in her body. Glucose if the fuel of the body system. There was nothing in the gut, and the stomach was tightened.
“The small intestine and the large intestine were also empty,” he said.

How Wahu Ended Up in Nakuru
The deceased had gone to the Young Men for Christ Association (YMCA) area in Nakuru to visit her brother and his wife in January 2024.
However, months later, her decomposing body was discovered in the house, with the couple living in the same establishment.
According to the couple, they were waiting on Wahu to resurrect on the second week of March.
However, alarmed, the relatives of the couples and the residents reported the matter to the area assistant chief for intervention.

According to Mwea-West Sub-County Police commander Wilson Koskei, the couple did not allow anyone inside the residence.
Further, Kiskei revealed that the couple used the home as a church known as God’s Mountain of Believers.
Residents Make New Call After Autopsy
Additionally, residents now want police officers to investigate for possible grave sites in the home, explaining that the couple had been digging around the home at night.
“There are prayers conducted in the home. We would hear them as we passed by, and the Neighbours have heard them digging around at night on several occasions.
“Their child confessed to the police that the couple digs around when no one is looking,” one of the residents noted.
The body of the deceased was moved to the Kerugoya hospital mortuary.
