President William Ruto’s daughter, Charlene Ruto, on Friday joined Murang’a Deputy Governor Stephen Munania in the planting of coffee seedlings at a two-acre demonstration farm in the county.
Through her Twitter account, the first daughter shared her experience.
“I was elated to yet again visit Murang’a county where we planted coffee seedlings”
“During this visit, we got to see different types of coffee beans produced in the ever so robust Muran’ga County,” said Charlene in a tweet after the session.

The climate change action champion further expressed her joy in interacting with fellow youths who are committed to the same cause.
“My point of joy was interacting with young people who joined us as we mobilized them to embrace coffee farming,” she said.
“We discussed creation of income generating opportunities in the coffee industry without waiting for white collar jobs & shared on the Coffee Value Chain in Agriculture.”
