Deputy President William Ruto has said that he was misquoted on remarks that the Democratic Republic of Congo didn’t have any cows.
Addressing the Kenya Private Sector Alliance on Thursday, The second in command said what he meant to say was that Kenyans enjoy Congolese music and the country could be a potential market for Kenyan milk.
He insisted that it was a slip of the tongue.
“I was misquoted. I was saying we enjoy their music and they can be our market,” Ruto said.
